Three Ways To Support The mission
Help ignite a movement of surrendered men.
Invite men to kickstart transformation through surrender and daily discipleship.
1 - Challenge Invite
2 - Group Application
Send a man into a formation group, where deep change happens.
3 - fINANCIAL Support
Partner with us to make this movement accessible to every man.
1. Spread Word About the 21-Day Challenge
The Dead Man 21-Day Challenge is the best on-ramp to this movement.
It’s free. It’s simple. It’s powerful.
Each day includes a short teaching video, a bold confession, a Scripture, and a gut-check devotional men can actually act on.
Men don’t need more information. They need resurrection.
This challenge calls them to it.
2. Invite a Man Into a Formation Group
Some men are ready to go further. They’re done coasting.
That’s what our Formation Groups are for—
not a Bible study, not a church small group—
but a burial ground for the false self and a training ground for true spiritual formation.
Over 21 weeks, men walk through the Dead Man Manifesto, practice the classical spiritual disciplines, and forge a new way of living with Christ at the center.
3. Give Financially to Fuel the Mission
We are a nonprofit that exists to help men live fully surrendered to Christ.
To do this well, we need partners who will help carry this mandate.
Your financial support does two things:
Supports Joe Courtney full-time in leading, discipling, and building this ministry
Provides scholarships for men who are ready to go deeper but face real financial barriers
We can’t do this without the generosity of Kingdom-minded partners.
FAQs
-
Dead Man Revival is a discipleship movement for men who are ready to die to self and follow Jesus with everything. We help men form the mind of Christ through high-commitment formation groups, spiritual disciplines, and accountable brotherhood.
We're not here to entertain or impress—we're here to form men into apprentices of Jesus. -
We serve men who are hungry for more than church attendance and surface-level faith.
Most are in their 30s to 60s, in a season of reassessing their lives, and asking:
What does it really mean to follow Jesus as a man, husband, father, and leader?
You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to be ready to go deeper. -
Our spiritual formation groups are not casual gatherings. They're designed to help men walk with Jesus through real accountability, spiritual disciplines, and biblical truth—with strong support from a trained facilitator.
These groups require:
Weekly attendance and personal engagement
Practice of spiritual habits between sessions
Honest accountability and a willingness to grow
A financial investment
Why the cost?
Because your spiritual formation matters.
The investment we’re making in each man is significant and our facilitators are committed to shepherding you with focus, time, and intentionality. You're not just joining a group. You're entering a process that has the potential to change everything. -
Each event is different, but the purpose is the same: to awaken men to what’s real and call them to live surrendered lives in Christ.
Expect teaching, worship, space to reflect, and a clear next step.
We don’t gather just to consume. We gather to respond. -
We’re open to partnerships with pastors and local churches.
If you’re interested in bringing Dead Man Revival to your area, reach out and we’ll talk about it. -
Dead Man Revival was founded by Joe Courtney, a leadership coach and spiritual formation mentor with a passion for helping men live fully surrendered to Christ. While Joe is often visible at events and in our content, the ministry is not built around one man.
We’re led by a Board of committed Christian men who carry biblical conviction, Spirit-filled wisdom, and a shared vision for discipleship and revival. Their role is to guard the mission, provide spiritual and strategic oversight, and ensure everything we do reflects the heart of Christ.
We’re also supported by a trusted Advisory Council of pastors, leaders, and seasoned men of faith who speak into our direction, offerings, and spiritual integrity.
This isn’t a solo effort—it’s a brotherhood, led by a team of men who are living the message we preach.
