THe Dead Man Tenets
1. A Dead Man is Surrendered
Confession: Jesus is Lord. I lay down my control.
Key Scripture: Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
We believe full life begins with full surrender. A dead man doesn’t follow Jesus on his terms—he follows on Christ’s. He has laid down his rights, ambitions, and opinions to live fully under the authority of the King. This is not self-denial for its own sake—it is the pathway to resurrection life.
2. A Dead Man is Righteous
Confession: Jesus is my righteousness. I live by grace, not grit.
Key Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:21
“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
We believe righteousness is not achieved—it is received. Jesus is our righteousness. We reject self-salvation, self-improvement, and image management. A dead man has no need to perform. He lives by grace, walks by the Spirit, and is being formed into Christ’s likeness daily.
3. A Dead Man is Faithful
Confession: My eyes are set on Christ. I will not turn aside.
Key Scripture: Hebrews 11:6
“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who draws near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”
We believe faithfulness is greater than fruitfulness. A dead man doesn’t hustle for results—he walks in obedience. He shows up when it’s hard. He stays when it’s costly. His trust is not in outcomes but in the One who called him. Steady. Present. True.
4. A Dead Man is Attentive
Confession: I hear and respond to the voice of God.
Key Scripture: John 10:27
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
We believe God still speaks—and His sons still listen. A dead man is not led by noise, culture, or impulse. He is led by the Spirit. He lives with holy awareness, cultivating stillness, seeking Scripture, and staying sensitive to God’s leading in the ordinary.
5. A Dead Man is Obedient
Confession: Not my will, but Yours be done.
Key Scripture: John 14:15
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”
We believe love looks like obedience. A dead man doesn’t negotiate with God—he responds. Obedience isn’t legalism; it’s devotion. It’s not about behavior—it’s about surrender. When Jesus speaks, a dead man moves.
6. A Dead Man is Known
Confession: I hide nothing. I walk in the light.
Key Scripture: James 5:16
“Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.”
We believe healing happens in the light. A dead man doesn’t live in isolation or image control. He walks in truth—with God and with others. He embraces brotherhood, invites accountability, and practices confession as the path to freedom.
7. A Dead Man is Humble
Confession: I am not self-made. I am God-breathed.
Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:31
“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
We believe humility is the way of Jesus. A dead man does not need applause or platform. He remembers he came from dust and will return to dust—and everything good is grace. He leads with bold humility and lives fully dependent on God.
8. A Dead Man is Free
Confession: I forgive because I’ve been forgiven.
Key Scripture: Ephesians 4:32
“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
We believe true freedom is found in forgiveness. A dead man doesn’t carry bitterness, shame, or offense. He forgives because he’s been forgiven. He knows freedom is not the absence of struggle but the presence of Christ.
9. A Dead Man is Generational
Confession: I live for what will outlive me.
Key Scripture: Hebrews 11:13
“These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar.”
We believe legacy isn’t about being remembered. It’s about being faithful. A dead man doesn’t chase success—he plants seeds. He leads with sacrifice, prepares with foresight, and builds what won’t end with him. He lives for the next generation.
10. A Dead Man is Eternal
Confession: I was made for more than this moment. The eternal kind of life begins now.
Key Scripture: Colossians 3:3
“For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”
We believe eternal life is not just the afterlife—it’s the with-God life now. A dead man lives with the end in view. He is already raised with Christ. He reigns by serving. He dies daily to live forever. His life is hidden, but his impact is eternal.
