About Dead Man Revival

What We Do

We’re not here to make better men. We’re here to form new men.

Dead Man Revival is a discipleship movement for men in midlife who are ready to trade the life they’ve built for the life they were made for.

We believe spiritual formation isn’t a retreat—it’s a full surrender.

We don’t do hype, hustle, or shallow religion.

We call men to live crucified with Christ and raised for eternal impact.

We exist to awaken men to the Kingdom life they were born for—a life of identity, obedience, brotherhood, and legacy.

Who We Serve

We serve men in midlife who are…

Successful on paper, but spiritually restless.

Achieving, but not abiding.

Busy, but not bold.

Isolated, but not known.

What We Believe

Dead Man Revival is rooted in the Gospel of the Kingdom and the crucified life.

We believe:

Jesus is King, and His Kingdom is advancing.

Men were made to live surrendered, not self-made.

Spiritual formation is not a hobby—it’s a holy calling.

Brotherhood is not optional—it’s vital.

Obedience is better than outcomes.

Eternal life starts now, not later.

Our Founder

Joe Courtney bio image. Spiritual Director and Author of Dead Man Manifesto.

Joe Courtney is a speaker, author, spiritual formation mentor, and the founder of Dead Man Revival.

For years, Joe chased performance, productivity, and external success until God called him to lay it all down and live crucified with Christ.

His story mirrors the tension many men feel today: the pull between what the world praises and what the Kingdom requires.

Joe now devotes his life to walking with men through the same process that changed his own:

Surrender

Identity

Brotherhood

Eternal perspective

Whether through groups, speaking, or one-on-one mentorship, Joe leads with bold clarity and Kingdom conviction.
