Dead Man Revival exists to form men who are dead to self and fully alive in Christ.
We’re not launching a program.
We’re igniting a movement.

Why It Matters
The 3 Reasons
This mission is answering a three-fold ache:
1 - The Personal
addressing men’s spiritual hunger.
Because men are spiritually starving.
They’re chasing success, but longing for significance.
They’re in church, but feel spiritually numb.
They’re asking:
“Who am I becoming?”
“Will any of this matter in the end?”
And most have turned to the Church for help…
Only to find programs without power and pastors too busy to walk with them.
We created Dead Man Revival to fill this void—
To show men how to follow Jesus, not in theory, but in real life.
To help them die to the old self, and become the kind of man their world needs.
2 - The Church
Strengthening Local congregations.
Because the Church is overloaded and under-formed.
We’re not here to replace the Church.
We’re here to strengthen her.
Most churches are doing the best they can. But the system is stretched.
Few churches have the mature leaders needed for deep discipleship.
Small groups feel shallow.
Information has replaced formation.
Jesus said, “Make disciples.”
But today’s model often makes attenders, not apprentices.
We exist to restore what’s missing:
Spiritually mature, elder-level men (in character, not title)
Qualified spiritual fathers
Brothers who don’t compete, but carry one another
This is how we strengthen the Church. Not from the stage. From the inside out.
3 - The Kingdom
Preparing men for eternal purpose.
Because Jesus is building more than churches.
He’s preparing a people who will reign with Him.
Adam was created for dominion, but lost it through disconnection.
Jesus, the Second Adam, came to restore that connection and with it, our calling.
This is bigger than salvation.
This is formation for Kingdom rule.

We're not here to entertain or impress—we're here to form men into apprentices of Jesus. -
We serve men who are hungry for more than church attendance and surface-level faith.
Most are in their 30s to 60s, in a season of reassessing their lives, and asking:
What does it really mean to follow Jesus as a man, husband, father, and leader?
You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to be ready to go deeper. -

Dead Man Revival was founded by Joe Courtney, a leadership coach and spiritual formation mentor with a passion for helping men live fully surrendered to Christ. While Joe is often visible at events and in our content, the ministry is not built around one man.
We’re led by a Board of committed Christian men who carry biblical conviction, Spirit-filled wisdom, and a shared vision for discipleship and revival. Their role is to guard the mission, provide spiritual and strategic oversight, and ensure everything we do reflects the heart of Christ.
We’re also supported by a trusted Advisory Council of pastors, leaders, and seasoned men of faith who speak into our direction, offerings, and spiritual integrity.
This isn’t a solo effort—it’s a brotherhood, led by a team of men who are living the message we preach.

Dead Man Revival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, officially recognized by the IRS as of May 30, 2025, with exempt status retroactive to our formation date of April 9, 2025. All donations are now fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
