Joe Courtney is a spiritual formation mentor, speaker, and author of Dead Man Manifesto: 10 Confessions of a Kingdom Leader.
After two decades in pastoral ministry and consulting, Joe walked away from platform-driven success to help men die to the old self and live fully in Christ. His writing cuts through shallow religion and calls men into a deeper, bolder apprenticeship to Jesus—one marked by surrender, brotherhood, and Kingdom impact.
Joe is the founder of Dead Man Revival, a discipleship movement focused on spiritual formation for men in midlife. Through immersive retreats, high-commitment formation groups, and practical devotionals, Joe equips men to live as Kingdom leaders in a compromised world.
When he’s not writing or mentoring, Joe is adventuring with his wife and kids, exploring trails, chasing waterfalls, and seeking God’s presence in the ordinary.
